CONTEST RULES
The
Edge Rules !
It is our goal to develop contests that are fun to
play, and relatively easy to win !
However we have some rules to follow:
We encourage all of our listeners to participate, but we do ask
you to follow the rules.
Persons who win a prize on The Edge, may not win another prize within
30 days. Only one winner per household per month. Family members
living in the same household as contest winners are also ineligible
to win a prize within the same 30 day time frame. All callers may
be recorded for play back on The Edge 1400 WWGE. Contestants and
Winners waive all rights and agree that their voice and likeness
may be and will be used to highlight and further promote contests
on WWGE. Employees, owners of WWGE and their immediate family members
are ineligible to win any prizes on The Edge.
Unless otherwise specified, any promotion that involves a registration
box at a sponsor location carries some additional rules: Only one
entry per person, per store visit. Contestants that take more than
one registration slip per person, or a stack of registration slips
home with them or elsewhere, fill out a stack of slips then "
stuff the registration box " will be disqualified. Absolutely
no exceptions. Edge contests and promotions are described in detail,
both in the form of recorded promotional announcements broadcast
on the air and posted on edge1400.com on the contest pages. Play
by the rules, and everyone will have fun. Unless otherwise agreed
upon by WWGE and Contestants and Winners, prizes are available for
pick up during normal business hours Monday through Friday 7AM-
3PM Eastern, excluding holidays. Winners must present valid drivers
license or some other valid photo proof of identification. Winners
must be present to claim prize. Prizes may be mailed to contest
winners at the request of winner and the sole discretion of WWGE.
Prizes will be mailed in a timely fashion. WWGE does not guarantee
nor can control the date and time a prize mailed may arrive. Please
be patient. If you do not receive your mailed prize within 30 days
of winning, please feel free to write us, Our mailing address is

WWGE is not responsible for prizes lost and or stolen as a result
of being mailed. WWGE will verify winner information, and will ask
for identification, mailing address, day time phone number and date
of birth. Most contest winners must be 18 years of age or older,
unless otherwise specified. Any prizes containing alcohol, winners
must be 21 years of age or older. Prizes are described in detail
on the air and on edge1400.com, prizes may only be substituted at
the sole discretion of WWGE Management. Prizes not claimed by winners
within 30 business days automatically become the property of WWGE
No exceptions. Prizes won at any Sponsor Remote Broadcast or any
other on premise promotion at a sponsor location must also follow
any additional rules of the individual contest. These rules will
be explained at all remotes and on premise promotions, either by
use of a promotional display or by the Radiowerks personnel conducting
the promotion. Prizes may be distributed at the site of live remote
and on premise promotions solely at the discretion of WWGE. Prizes
provided by the host and or sponsor of a live remote broadcast promotion
may impose additional rules related to those prizes. Some offers
may be subject to further restrictions. WWGE assumes no responsibility
for any actions of any sponsor. On premise promotions at sponsor
locations may be subject to additional rules, levied by the sponsor.
WWGE is to be held harmless from any actions, or restrictions placed
on contestants, winners, listeners, customers, ( you get the idea
) by WWGE, Radiowerks Broadcasting Company, and its sponsors. There
is no purchase necessary to participate in any contest on WWGE or
at any sponsor location, with one exception: Buy one Get one &
or $ off coupons may be included in "Prize Packs" however,
other great FREE prizes will be included in the prize pack. It is
up to the winner entirely whether or not they choose to redeem a
Buy one Get one & or $ off coupon.
We encourage our listeners, contestants and winners to let us know
how we are doing, and how we can improve our contests in any way.
