The
Pittsburgh Pirates will host PirateFest 2008 at the David L. Lawrence
Convention Center, January 25 - 27. Now in its 18th year, PirateFest
is a giant indoor baseball carnival for the entire family, featuring
live events, free autograph sessions, prizes, games, youth baseball
clinics, the Pirate Parrot and much more.

Curve Hot Stove Dinner & Benefit Auction
The
Altoona Curve have announced the guest list for the Eighth Annual
Curve Hot Stove Dinner & Benefit Auction. The event will take place on Friday, January 25th
beginning at 6 p.m. at the Blair County Convention Center in Altoona. All proceeds from the
event will benefit Operation Our Town, the American Cancer Society and the Miracle League of Blair County.
